Machine Wash
Cycle: Select a 'Delicate', 'Gentle', or 'Hand Wash' cycle on your machine.
Water Temperature: Always use cold water. Cold water is essential for preventing dye from bleeding and is the safest option for both ripstop nylon and polyester fleece. It also prevents potential heat damage or shrinking of the fibres.
Detergent: Use a small amount of a mild, pH-neutral liquid detergent. Opt for one specifically formulated for delicate fabrics or technical outerwear. Avoid powders, as they can leave a residue, and steer clear of any detergents containing bleach, bleach alternatives, or fabric softeners.
Loading: Wash the coat with similar colours and textures, or on its own. Do not overload the machine, as this increases friction and can lead to colour loss. Placing the coat inside a large mesh laundry bag can provide an extra layer of protection.
